Charleston

The second part of the week was a great kind of busy. We headed down to Richmond on Wednesday afternoon after the emergency room visit.

Thursday around 2pm we left for Charleston to go to Kate Osborne's wedding. Things really looked up as soon as we checked in to the Meeting Street Inn. Archer's face was healing, the beach was calling us and we were happy to have a few days together before school, work and daycare resumed. Plus, Dad got some great bonding time with Archer since I was in the wedding.

My favorite times as a family were when we could hit the beach. Archer's favorite time was when he was drinking vanilla milkshakes and hanging out with his best girls. He was sort of embarrassed when I dressed him up in feminine clothing for the wedding. One of David's friends asked how old our daughter was. Oh well, I thought he looked cute. It was a wonderful ending to a wonderful summer.

The wedding was beautiful and Kate Osborne Adams was glowing. We really had the best time catching up with all of our friends. I wish we could do it again!

Daddy and Archer apres swimming.

Sunbathing...
Archer is pretending he is on the beaches in the south of France.

A few of Archer's doting Aunties (he loved the attention)

Hanging out before the wedding in his boy dress.

Do we have time for 18?

Archer made good friends with the Osborne's dog, Tuck.
